About Us
Welcome to the Theatres at 45 Bleecker.
OVERVIEW
The Theatres at 45 Bleecker Street is a multiuse, hybrid theatre complex. It is the theatre complex of the future. Most single theatres and theatre complexes in New York City are built on a business model of four hours of use a day, six days a week. This theatre complex is built on the business models of Las Vegas Casinos where income is based on maximum use of space, revenue per square foot, per minute of the day, seven days a week. We are open eighteen hours a day, seven days a week. With over 10,000 square feet and three large spaces, we have created multiple revenue streams. The following is an introduction and overview of The Theatres at 45 Bleecker Street:

NAME OF VENUES:
Overall Complex ……………………………….. Theatres at 45 Bleecker Street
199 to 302-seat Theatre …………………….. The Bleecker Street Theatre
99 to 120-seat Theatre ………………………. The Green Room
30 to 50-seat Lobby …………………………… Performance Space, Crosby Connection Gourmet Concessions, Lobby Bar, The Follin Art Gallery
USE OF SPACE:
THE LOBBY (30 TO 50 SEAT PERFORMANCE SPACE):
PERFORMANCE SPACE:

Initially conceived as a concession stand only, the Lobby has evolved into a third legitimate performance space which acts as a developmental theatre allowing readings, workshops, and small shows to grow into one of our two primary theatres. Also late night we feature jazz and other acoustic music.
CONCESSIONS/ WINE BAR:

Crosby Connection, renowned for Joe Crosby’s delicious gourmet sandwiches, supplies upscale concessions including sandwiches, salads, sweets and savories, coffees, teas, beer and wine. They have an established, loyal following. Open from 10:00AM to 5:00PM seven days a week, everyone is welcome to come, stay, eat, and drink. We have purposely developed a café atmosphere where people feel welcome. We want the public as well as artists to set up their computers or use our rental computers, plug into our free Internet and create our next hit. We have already become a hangout for actors, musicians, writers, directors, and Crosby regulars. With our contacts in the entertainment industry and Crosby’s ability to create a unique quality cuisine the potential for catering is unlimited. Crosby Connection has excellent franchise potential.
From 5:00PM to 2:00AM seven days a week the Lobby Bar is a self-standing wine bar, with its own unique identity and following. It services theatre patrons as well as its own customers. The Lobby Bar features concessions by Crosby Connection along with full drink service including high-end and moderately priced wines, champagnes, microbrewery beers as well as established brands, and sakes which can be transformed into a variety of cocktails and martinis. We have also created several food and drink combination platters including a champagne and chocolate truffle platter and a wine and cheese platter.
THE FOLLIN ART GALLERY:

To curate our Art Gallery we enlisted the expertise of Heidi Follin. On a rotating basis the walls of the Lobby are covered with paintings, photographs and other artwork. Initially thought of as little more then atmosphere, she has developed the Lobby into a legitimate, sought-after art gallery that generates additional revenue through the sale of the works.

BOOKING PHILOSOPHY:
Our booking philosophy is simple; we have room for everyone with a good idea, show or talent. We have brought our space to a point where world-class artists are now developing productions especially for our complex.
Internally Produced Shows:
Off-Broadway shows and events developed and produced internally. Successful internally produced shows make substantially more money for the complex than rental shows and fill any holes
